Creating KVAS Fine Beverage Co.

Wife and husband team, Amy and Zac Kvas, created their line of specialty small-batch syrups and garnishes out of their love for spirits, cocktail creation, and real Ontario ingredients.

Growing up on her grandfather’s grape farm in Niagara, Amy was quick to learn the ins and outs of Canada’s wine country! Amy began working in the cocktail and spirit industry at Dillon’s Distillery. After her time at Dillon’s, Amy graduated from the Winery & Viticulture program at Niagara College. From there, Amy worked as a cellar hand and then transitioned into management.

Zac began his career in the vintage wineries of the Niagara region as well as Australia! Pivoting into the cocktail world, Zac became head mixologist at a famous restaurant in Niagara-on-the-Lake where he focused on merging classic cocktails with modern sensibilities and local ingredients. Zac has also curated a farm-to-bar cocktail program that has become one of the busiest and most successful of its kind in the region.

A Niagara Feel in Every Sip

Amy and Zac have a deep connection to Ontario agriculture and put local Niagara produce at the forefront of each of their creations.

Kvas syrups are terroir-driven, meaning that every KVAS product is 100% influenced by the surrounding Niagara environment. From the soil in which the ingredients grow, to the way they are harvested, Niagara is in every sip.
