Hey Sugar - Lemon Bergamot Body Scrub

Hey Sugar is created by Carol Dudar, a food stylist and recipe developer based in Toronto. Frustrated that she couldn't find an all-natural body scrub, she took matters into her own hands and started making her own. 

Bergamot essential oil is commonly used in aromatherapy to elevate mood and decrease stress, but it is also known for its antiseptic and analgesic (pain-relieving) properties that may help with skin irritation. Many people use lemon essential oil as an internal antioxidant, but this powerhouse essential oil has great topical benefits as well. Lemon essential oil can eliminate bad bacteria that gets trapped in our pores and cause breakouts. It is its own clarifying agent by gently exfoliating microscopic dead skin cells in hair follicles or pores. 

Hey Sugar's moisturizing scrubs are made with organic ingredients and are gentle enough to use daily. For best results, run a bath or shower, apply a tablespoon's worth of scrub to wet skin, and massage all over desired areas to exfoliate. Rinse off the sugar, then gently pat yourself dry with a towel, leaving the moisturizing oils to do their work. Enjoy your beautiful, radiant skin.
