Toronto has come a long way since the first European settlers pitched their tents along the Humber River in 1793 and christened it York. Today, "Muddy York" is a multicultural megacity of dazzling architecture, where over 150 languages are spoken. Toronto Then and Now pairs archival photos with present-day images of the same scenes, showing how the city has grown and evolved into the vibrant and culturally diverse place it is today.
